Kitten sale terms

These terms apply when you reserve or buy a kitten from Regal Ragdoll Kittens in Bowral, NSW. They are written in plain English, and they sit alongside our health guarantee and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free. It does not oblige you to buy a kitten, and it does not oblige us to offer you one. We offer kittens to families in waitlist order once a litter is six weeks old.

2. Reservation deposit

A deposit reserves a specific kitten from six weeks old and comes off the purchase price. If we cannot complete the sale for any reason on our side, including the kitten's health, your deposit is refunded in full or transferred to another kitten, your choice. If you change your mind, your deposit can be transferred to a kitten from a future litter within twelve months.

3. Payment

The balance is paid by bank transfer to our business account before your kitten goes home. We confirm the amount and due date in writing when you reserve. We never ask for payment by gift card, cryptocurrency or money transfer service. Interstate flights are invoiced separately at cost.

4. Collection and flights

Kittens go home at twelve to thirteen weeks old, once desexed, vaccinated and vet checked. Collection from Bowral is by appointment. For flights, we book with a licensed pet transport company and you collect at your capital-city airport. If you need to delay collection by more than a week, please talk to us early.

5. Registration and papers

Pet kittens are sold desexed on limited registration with the NSW Cat Fanciers' Association. The microchip is transferred to you on the NSW Pet Registry. Buyers outside NSW are responsible for registering their kitten under their own state's or council's rules.

6. Rehoming

If you are ever unable to keep your cat, at any age, please contact us first. We will help you rehome them or take them back.

7. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
